AI Provider Setup Reference

Open Notomo → Settings → AI → Providers to manage providers. Notomo stores account credentials and API keys in the macOS Keychain. Only connected and enabled providers appear in model selectors.

  1. Click Sign in with ChatGPT in the Account section.
  2. Complete authorization in the sign-in window.
  3. Keep the ChatGPT toggle enabled after signing in.

Signing out removes ChatGPT models from model selectors. The connection does not depend on a local CLI.

  1. Click Sign in with xAI in the Account section.
  2. Follow the sign-in prompts and authorize with a SuperGrok or X Premium account.
  3. Keep the xAI toggle enabled after signing in.

The connection does not depend on a local CLI. If the session expires, return to this page and sign in again.

Click Add API Provider, choose a service, and complete the required fields:

Provider Required settings Other settings
OpenAI API API Key
Google Gemini API API Key
OpenRouter API API Key Fetch or manually add models
DeepSeek API API Key
GLM Coding Plan API Key Region: Global or China
Cloudflare Workers AI Account ID, API Token Fetch or manually add models
OpenAI-compatible API Provider Name, API Base URL API Key optional; fetch or manually add models

After completing the fields:

  1. Click Verify to test the credentials and service address.
  2. For services with dynamic model lists, click Fetch Models and select the models to use.
  3. If a model is not listed, click Custom and enter its model ID.
  4. Save the configuration and confirm that the provider is enabled.

Changing the GLM Coding Plan Region only switches the API endpoint. It does not change the API Key or verification status.

  • Provider Name must be unique so the service can be distinguished in settings and model selectors.
  • Prefer a Base URL that uses https://.
  • Notomo allows http:// URLs for local services.
  • With other plain HTTP addresses, request content and API keys are not encrypted.
  • Some local services do not require an API Key; leave it blank in that case.

Antigravity is a command-line provider. Install agy on your Mac and sign in through Terminal first. Notomo does not install or sign in to the CLI.

Then return to Providers → Command Line and enable Antigravity. Its models appear in model selectors only when the CLI is installed and the toggle is enabled.

  • Turning off a provider hides its models without immediately deleting credentials.
  • Click a configured API provider to verify it again, adjust models, or update credentials.
  • Use Sign Out to disconnect an Account provider.
  • Before deleting an API configuration, make sure you no longer need its custom models.

If a model does not appear, confirm in order that the provider is connected, its toggle is enabled, the model has been added, and the Account login or CLI session remains valid. See Common issues for more troubleshooting steps.
