Table of Contents

Table of Contents reads Title, Heading, and Subheading styles in the current note and creates a collapsible hierarchy.

Open Table of Contents

1. Open Notomo → Settings → Notes → Floating icon.
2. Enable Table of contents button and choose when the Floating Icon appears.
3. Return to the Apple Notes editor and click the Table of Contents button in the lower-right corner.

Select any heading to move the Apple Notes cursor to it. Items with child headings can be expanded or collapsed, and the heading at the current position is highlighted automatically.

If the note has no heading styles, the panel shows No headers.

Tip

Use # , ## , and ### Markdown triggers to quickly create a heading structure suitable for navigation.

Note

Table of Contents uses Accessibility to read the current editable note. It does not insert a table of contents into the note or modify headings.
