Command Palette
Command Palette brings common actions into one searchable panel. Press ⌘K while Apple Notes is in the foreground.
Keyboard controls
Section titled “Keyboard controls”- Type a command name or keyword to filter.
- Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move the selection.
- Press Return to run the command.
- Press Escape to close and return to Apple Notes.
Change or clear the shortcut under Notomo → Settings → Shortcuts.
Available commands
Section titled “Available commands”| Command | Purpose |

| Quick Open | Find notes and folders by title or preview text |
| Show Backlinks | See which notes reference the current note |
| Open Assistant | Open Assistant for the current note |
| Paste Markdown as Rich Text | Paste Markdown from the clipboard into Notes as formatted content |
| Copy Note as Markdown | Copy the current note as Markdown |
| Copy Note as Plain Text | Copy the current note as plain text |
| Copy Deeplink | Copy the Apple Notes link for the current note |
| Export Markdown | Save the current note as a Markdown file |
| Export PDF | Save the current note as a PDF file |
| Notomo Settings | Open settings |
When a command is unavailable
Section titled “When a command is unavailable”Command Palette keeps temporarily unavailable commands visible and shows the missing requirement. For example:
- Copy and export commands require a selected note in Apple Notes.
- Backlinks and Deeplink require Apple Notes database access.
- Opening Assistant and pasting rich text require Accessibility permission.
- The clipboard must contain text before pasting Markdown.
Follow the panel prompt to grant permission or select a target note, then run the command again.
